Millers Mechanical provides the total solution for a quality beef slaughter process from the knocking box to the beef chill hot boxes, designed with each client to achieve food safety, productivity improvements, operator safety and an easily maintained reliable system.

Millers Mechanical can provide:

  • For a wide range of cattle from 75kg (165lbs) vealers to 2,000kg bulls (4,400lbs), and process system rates from 6 cattle per day to 240 cattle per hour.

  • Our downward hide pulling specification assures quality carcase presentation and worker safety during this critical process step.

  • Our proven world-class conveying technologies include walking beam, roller chain conveyors (flexibility in the horizontal and vertical planes), which prevent overhead contamination onto carcase, and can be configured to suit any layout

  • Purpose operator specific rise and fall or static ergonomic platform designs; complete with hygiene equipment, all utility services with water saving sensors, and contained water drainage

  • Evisceration products conveying choices from gut-buggies, slat conveyor (with or without dividers), or our pan conveying system assuring content separation or simple belt systems

  • Our beef stacking bleed rail system assures proper carcase spacing and time without cross-contamination, and retain-detain rail system aids in the handling of poor stock whilst maintaining production without process interruptions

  • Electronic carcase conditioning systems are developed by the Australian Meat & Livestock Association and are integrated into our systems

  • System control choices from simple pneumatic to fully networked field re-configurable PC based Scada type (safe control wire buss system) with electronic synchronisation
